Juvéderm™ injections beneath the top layer of skin into the mid- to deep-dermal layer correct moderate-to-severe wrinkles and folds for up to six months and longer! You can see immediate results in the lessening or disappearance of:

  • Nasolabial folds – Sometimes called “smile lines” or “parentheses” that extend from the bottom outside corners of the nostrils to the sides of the mouth
  • Oral commissures – Better known as “marionette” lines, which run from the corners of the mouth down toward the chin
  • Perioral lines – Lip lines that run from the upper lip toward the nose
  • Chin wrinkles – Wrinkles that accumulate around the chin area

Juvéderm™ versus Other Dermal Fillers

Because Juvéderm™ is made of hyaluronic acid – a naturally occurring human skin substance – you also reap the benefits of restored hydration and the resulting healthy, youthful appearance that comes from increased skin volume.

Volunteers in clinical studies compared the results of Juvéderm and other dermal fillers, including Restylane® and ZYPLAST®. Juvéderm caused less pain, bumps, and bruising than Restylane®. It was preferred by close to 90 percent of the volunteers for its effectiveness over ZYPLAST®, a bovine-based collagen.

This next-generation injectable gel works quickly and with few, if any, minor side effects. If any do occur, they will last no longer than seven days, maximum. These temporary side effects, which typically occur as injection site reactions, may include swelling, redness, pain, bumps, and a feeling of firmness.
