Butt Augmentation & Fat Transfer

In this time and generation, there is a lot of emphasis being placed on how we look. Because of this, there are many plastic surgery procedures that can help an individual improve their physical appearance.
One of these plastic surgery procedures that can be used to change a person’s physical appearance is the fat transfer procedure also know as micro-lipoinjection or autologous fat transplantation. The procedure uses the fat from the patients body in order to plump up other body parts such as buttocks, face or lips.
One of the main reasons that people undergo fat transfer is to add definition to areas of their bodies such as cheeks, lips, neck and chin. Fat transfer procedures have long-lasting results if injected in areas that have very little muscle movement. Renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Lapuerta has performed numerous successful buttocks augmentation surgeries using liposuction and fat transfers.

When carrying out the fat transfer procedure, the plastic surgeon will use a small syringe to draw the fat from parts of the body such as the abdomen where the fat is packed. The excess fluids in the fat are removed before it can be reinjected underneath the skin of the targeted area using a different syringe with a local anesthesia. This process is repeated until the desired effect is attained.
The best part about the fat transfer procedure is that it takes less than a day for the patient to recover.
