The surgical procedure used to insert breast implants into your body will vary depending on your breasts size and shape simply because every woman’s body is different. There are three incisions that will be made in the areola or armpit region underneath your breast. From there the breast implant may be placed directly beneath the breast tissue, or behind the pectoral muscle.

How Long is the Procedure?
The mastoplexy (breast lift) procedure generally takes about an hour and a half to three hours for completion of the surgery. This is while you are under general anesthesia, and includes removal of incision outlined areas on the skin plus positioning of the new nipple.
