Houston Men Want Cosmetic Surgery

In years past there has been a predominant attitude that cosmetic surgery was a thing reserved only for women, but the times are changing. The male grooming market in the U.S. is now worth approximately $3.5 billion, and Houston men have embraced seeking the assistance of a cosmetic surgeon to improve their appearance and to revitalize their youthful look. People are living longer and working longer; therefore, it is important to many men to look youthful and appear dynamic well into their 50’s and 60’s. According to the American Association of Plastic Surgeons, men want to change the things they don’t like about their personal appearance. Houston area cosmetic surgeon Dr. Leo Lapuerta reports that the most popular procedures Houston men seek are male breast reduction, plastic surgery of the face, and liposuction. However, Dr. Leo Lapuerta also treats men for eyelid surgery, brow lifts, rhinoplasty (nose job), and otoplasty (ear surgery).
